YETI boxes are made from premium components & materials to create the ultimate quality cool box / icebox for you to use with confidence. ?Components consist of a 100% A grade polyethylene external skin with a non staining, non odour absorbing, impact resistant food grade internal liner. Superior ice / cold retention is obtained by utilising 3 inches of insulation in the lid and 2 inches in the walls. All are dry ice compatible.
Boxes have ultra heavy duty full length self-stopping hinges which can't hyper extend and break.
T-Latch keepers are molded into the lid and are made from flexible, black thermoplastic elastomer material. Lids have a rubber freezer style gasket fitted to ensure a perfect seal - locking the coldness in and the heat out.
All boxes are lockable and have a molded receiver on the bottom of the lid and on the top of the box enabling them to be locked.
Yeti Tundra boxes have plastic coated rope handles for ease of carrying ( easily replaceable ).
Yeti Roadie boxes have a robust, user friendly metal carrying handle.
Innovative non-slip, non-marking rubber feet protect the bottom of all coolers and help keep them in place.
Tie-down points are molded into the cooler body for solid mounting.

I originally bought this as a much cheaper alternative to proper travel fridge. The cheap fridges for similar money seemed a waste of time.I'm planing to use this on my travels round Europe and just top up with ice as an when needed.So far I have only used on a couple of shopping trips where I have been to the supermarket, put all my chilled stuff in then gone to the cinema before going home.I'm pleased to say that my Magnum ice creams ( other brands are available ) were still frozen, my milk still cold and my butter was still very much unspreadable.I'm certain it will do the job required for my travels, It's very tuff and well built. I would recommend this cool box in comparison to travel fridges of similar expense.
