Bought this tent on impulse from MFC Supplies in Eastbourne as I saw it up at their camping show. Very impressed by the spaciousness and light from the big windows = the tent is still a cheerful place to be even in downpour and you can enjoy the elements whilst staying dry! Had our first night away with this tent which took my 11 year old son and myself about half an hour to pitch. It was extremely easy to do so with the four poles all the same length. I splashed out on a carpet for £70ish which in my view is indispensable as the lounge was too large for the picnic blanket I used to get away with. So total comfort. Loads of room for two boys and myself plus dog, rain or shine. The headroom is enormous; you don't even feel as if you're in a tent, and it feels modern and stylish. I would say this tent is just about perfect for two adults and two children for weekly camping. I got a large camping kitchen, blow up sofa chair and folding chair plus kitchen paraphernalia in with plenty of room to spare. As an experiment I had bought a 'kids room' from Outwell to replace the smaller bedroom and it fitted fairly well with a few adjustments. The strengthening poles are a nice touch and really tighten up the structure and also provide a place to hang tea towels, kitchen utensils or air wet costumes or have a reading light dangling at the side where it's most comfortable. Only concern is there is no actual way of doing up the door at the bottom' as the upside down'J' construction leaves a gap that isn't sealed. However it does fit tightly and luckily my small dog didn't realise he could have slipped through and no creepy crawlies came in at night. The outer rolled up and went easily back into the bag with the poles, I didn't put the inners back in but packed them separately (my choice as it's a very heavy article for a woman to lug about when all packed up together so I wanted it to be in two lighter packages for next time). We can't wait to try this tent out again in the holidays.
