I have recently upgraded to the spot connect from the spot personal tracker. Like the personal tracker the spot connect allows you to send pre defined messages BUT it also allows you via bluetooth to connect your smart phone and send messages. The yearly service and message bundles costs are not too high and for piece of mind its well worth it.I wait to see what the battery consumption will be like as it only holds two AA batteries and connecting to satellite network to send messages and via bluetooth to your smart phone at the same time MUST impacted on battery life.
