1Shoddy!
By G. Ellis
I was very excited about getting my first Coleman tent as I had heard that they were a really good brand. In the dry weather it was fine, plenty of room, sensible lay out of the 4 and 2 person bedrooms and aside from the frustrating issues with the poles not fitting, once it was up it was great... until it started to rain (not heavy but enough to be average UK weather). I have to say that my £50 Argos tent was better made. I definatley received a lemon to say the least. The main problems are:1)The channel that the pole runs through on the dome portion is so tightly stitched that the poles have to be forced through.2)The first time it rained some of the seams at the main bedroom end of the tent started leaking, not just a trickle either. Overnight we managed to get almost a centimetre deep water inside. Fortunatley the bedrooms have an additional groundsheet and we were sleeping on airbeds.3)The clips that are stitched in to the groundsheet are not water tight so the rain seeps up through the ground sheet.4)The design of the doors means that if you wish to stay dry in the rain, you have to peg the doors down from the inside(?!) which is nigh on impossible. If not, the door blows inside (as the zips don't go all the way down to join the groundsheet) and creates a convenient gully for the water to run in. Once you have managed to peg the doors down by scrambling around on the inside, it is difficult to get back out again when you need to.I have returned mine to Amazon and asked for a replacement as I am hopeful that this was a one off made by a trainee or something. There's nothing wrong with the design or the materials, just badly made.

5Very good small tent
By Mrs. J. Cook
I have just bought this tent for a week long trip to the Lake District (Mid two weeks in August). We took our Grandson and another Child to experience the rain and wind that the UK now offers us at this time of year hahaha. It rained and between the periods of rain it was windy with rain. The tent stood up to it without difficulty. No leaks or problems putting up the tent. The only problem seems to be the doors. They flap in over the groundsheet when it's windy. You can peg them down by preparing a peg outside before zipping up. - Then reaching out and fastening up but you then have a gap between the tent and the bottom of the door to the outside world. I solved this by ignoring the elastics and putting the peg through the sewn in eye. But we managed okay. We have the waterfall five too and can say both tents are good and for the price I'm not really moaning. The difficulty was minor. It is just a bit of cloth stuck in a field afterall. If I wanted luxury I would do something else but kids get a lot out of camping. My four have left home and 3 of them use hotels!! "splitters."

5Excellent Value
By Aquaman
I brought this tent when out of season and on offer, was the best thing I did good size tent over all. A few niggling bits though but not enough for me to drop the stars.1, The double bed chamber divider IMO should be zip not the silly pegs that it has to hold it up as they tend to sag very badly and it don't really divide. However I only really wanted 2 separate chambers so never gonna use it anyway.2, when you zip the tent up there is no Velcro on the base to attach the doors securely to the base, therefore you will get a draft coming into the tent near the door but again for the price a roll of Velcro fixes that and not a huge issue really again not enough to drop the stars for the price I paid.all in all well worth the money but I wouldn't have paid the full RRP but these days not often you will ever pay full RRP anyway.
