I really don't understand how they can make this fantastic little boat at such a reasonable price!Having called it a 'little boat' I should add that it is, in fact, pretty big! It can easily carry two adults and quite a bit of extra luggage, camping gear, or whatever and is broad enough to be very stable. The material gives the impression of being very robust and I'm sure it will be able to withstand quite a lot of knocks and scraping. I've used it in rivers and in the sea and it's always functioned perfectly. We didn't experience the stearing problems others have mentioned... dare I suggest you may need a little more practice? My only small criticism - and it's not enough to prevent me from giving it five stars - is the fact that Boston valves are not used throughout. Other people have mentioned this. I am concerned that the beach-ball-type valve in the centre air compartment is not really up to the standard of the rest of the boat.Having said that, it's a great boat at a great price.

bought this on a recent family trip to the lakes. I already had a Sevylor Canyon, and while that is also very good value for money, you can really see where the extra £100 or so has gone. It seems very robust, is very easy to maneuver and is stable - even with an excited 9 year old jumping about. I agree that that the floor valve is a pain. That said, still delighted with it.

I did a reasonable amount of research before buying and I can now understand why this is supposed to be one of (if not the) most popular inflatable kayaks on the market. We have three sit on top Malibu kayaks that we use in the sea but wanted this for ease of transport and for use in lakes and rivers. We used it 3 times last week in the Lake District and I was very impressed. Easy to inflate using a double action pump and took no more than about 10 minutes from opening the bag until being ready to go into the water - having practiced once at home first. Whilst not particularly fast through the water it wasn't slow either but felt very stable at all times including in the wake of a motor boat. Fitting the skeg makes a big difference as I discovered one time when I forgot to put it on. Deflating is quite easy but fully drying out can take a bit of time particularly if deflated first. Seats are incredibly comfortable and back rest support good. I found the paddling action using a double paddle a little more awkward than on the sit on tops as it was necessary to ensure that the paddle cleared the sides of the inflatable by raising higher and outwards more. Got used to it after 10 minutes though. can't wait to go out on it again. An excellent kayak.
