As keen geocachers, we wanted something to go out on lakes and rivers for more difficult finds and considered a dinghy but we saw someone out on the lake with an inflatable kayak and realised that this was exactly what we wanted. We had done a bit of kayaking many years ago and so had a little experience, but we had no means of transporting our old fibreglass canoes on the car. This folded up small enough to go into the boot of my Smart car and came with the paddles, and all the paraphernalia to blow it up. The grandchildren have already had a lot of fun in it as well as our now-grown-up children. It was stable and easy to paddle. Anything that can entertain 3 generations at once is worth our vote!The only tiny gripe we have is that we can't find how to test the inflation of the mini Boston valve as we can't get the mano to work with it. But we would recommend this to anyone.

This is my first experience of an inflatable canoe, so nothing to compare with. However, it was easy to inflate and set up and very easy to use. Works absolutely fine for two adults. The valves on the seats are a bit tricky but OK once I'd got the hang of them. Four stars instead of five because the pressure gauge stopped working after one use - but Amazon customer service were excellent when I conteacted them for a replancement. I'm very pleased with the purchase and have already had a few fun outing on the Thames.
