I've owned a Juice S2 for a couple of years now and it's always the first thing I reach for when I need a mini multi-tool around the home. I've seen a few Leatherman tools and, although it might not be as heavy-duty as its bigger brothers, the S2 feels really well made and for everyday use it's a very capable performer. It houses a medium blade, scissors and a can/bottle opener in its exterior, and three slot and one Philips screwdrivers and a lanyard loop in the interior. But perhaps its best feature, and the one that elevates it above similar tools, is the small needlenose pliers in the centre that come into use when the handles are folded back. They aren't as large as those on the bigger Leatherman tools but are surprisingly handy for their size.On the negative side, the S2's blade doesn't lock, which is fine until it folds back on your fingers and this is when you realise just how sharp it is, while out of the box the scissors on mine weren't as good as I expected and needed some tending to in order to get them to cut as well as I thought they should. And as the other reviewer pointed out, the slot screwdrivers are a bit of a pain to get out if you don't have nails.Despite some fairly rough use mine has kept its good looks and, as far as I can tell, isn't scratched at all - even the lettering on the handles is as clear as it was when new and that's no mean feat, all things considered. The Juice isn't a full-sized multi-tool, nor is it really something you could keep on your keyring, but fits in pretty nicely between the two and is very pocketable. If you're sure that you won't need the extra leverage and sheer brawn offered by bigger tools, or maybe just want something a little more discreet, the S2 is a very worthwhile alternative.

Almost a perfect mini multi-tool. In about the same volume as a similar tool count Swiss Army knife, delivers fairly decent pliers (with cutters) which don't feature on SAKs and a cross-point screwdriver which not many SAKs feature.This has pliers and scissors, often an unusual combination in a mini tool. The most frequently needed tools, the knife, scissors and bottle opener are conveniently located outboard, with the less frequently required screwdriver tools inboard.Possibly the single most important feature is the knife blade is non-locking and therefore is UK legal carry. I think a partially serrated blade would make it a perfect mini multi-tool but I still give it 5 stars.

Leatherman Juice S2 is a great product, but only scores 3 stars due to the high cost....Leatherman is ripping us off in the UK. An American can buy the same item in the US for a fraction of the price we are asked to pay in the UK. At last, Leatherman do not have a monopoly on this class of mini multitool. Gerber Dime is a better, (yes I did say BETTER) product and 4 times cheaper. It may be made in China, but it is a way better product than the Juice S2 which is made in the USA.
