There were no reviews when i bought this so i just took the chance. Glad i did. Put it up alone (female 50's)in 25 minutes before going away. Used it for the British Grand Prix, 4 nights. Very wet, windy and muddy. I did find it rather heavy as had to carry it about 3/4 mile through muddy fields to camp. Completely waterproof, didn't flap in the wind and brushed the mud off back home. Due to the rain, found putting the outer part up first and the bedrooms from inside a bonus. Only 2 of us in it, so plenty of room. Would only do 4 persons for short breaks i should think.

It said in the blurb that it was easy to pitch, well I didn't find it so. I nearly gave up and returned it. The instructions, which consist of a series of pictures, are not very helpful in that the layout was not apparent. I stood inside, looking for the zip openings so that I could sort out which end was which and almost managed to permenantly cacoon myself. It is not really a one person job, but thankfully it was a dry, calm day so I eventually managed to pitch it in the garden. I'm certainly glad I tried it out before using it away from home. Also, before purchase I hadn't perceived that the bedrooms were hung seperately and found that the dividing wall between the bedrooms is added afterwards with elastic loops and pegs, so that full privacy is lacking. I'm disappointed with this tent, but I'll make the best of a bad job because I can see possibilities as the area without the bedrooms in is quite large, so I can use it as a shelter when I have to do jobs such as re-oiling the garden furniture. I've recently bought two other types of Gelert tent which were much easier to put up.
