I look for some time at buying a bigger tent than the previous one we own, that was affordable.After buying and using this tent we were not dissapointed. This tent is huge and the quality is super. it took me and my wife 1hr to put up on the first attempt, and 20mins on the second. It's simple when you get the hang of it as there are only 4 poles and the whole thing pulls up with guide lines. We have a 2yr old and he loved it, even falling over the built in ground sheet the tent stayed up with no problems.I baught this tent for £200 and not a dissapointment.Only thing is the price has gone up quite a bit, and out of choice I would go for the scirroco model rather than this as its bigger again and not much dearer. overall 5 stars from me

A large tent that coped well with the four of us plus our black lab. I think it works best as a 4 man tent as the space between our two double air beds was quite narrow in the sleeping area so I think it would be a squeeze to get 5 in it. I really liked all the windows/vents as these let in light when its colder and they all come with zip up fly nets. The only issue I had with the tent was that the two side windows immediately behind the front door panel do not zip completely closed (there is no zip on the bottom of the window flap). We had a mildly windy night which meant that the bottom section of the flap kept blowing upwards in the breeze and letting the colder night wind into the tent. I don't think I'd be happy with this on a night that wasn't in the height of summer.Overall though this is great value for money. We pitched it in a really short space of time, it wasn't stressful to put up because it was a no-brainer with the flexi poles. We didn't have any rain so cannot comment on the waterproofing level but all of us appreciated having the full height bedroom tent which gave a pleasant airy feel and with the main door section to the sleeping compartment closed we were warm enough. Would definitely buy again but that's because we are fair weather campers. If we camped in all weathers I'd be looking for something that had flaps that all zipped up fully!

We absolutley love this tent. When we purchased it. It was £160 Pounds. Which we thought was really worth it.We had previously seen it at £236.00 on amazon. On the skandika sight its around £500.Only ONE down side which is why we havent given it five stars . One of the black fittings at the top where the poles go through. 2 inches were unstitched. NOT A TEAR. Just looked like it hadent been stitched on. We have had it restitched and its perfect.Plenty of room. Ideal Living area space. Loved that it had a sewn ground sheet.Easy to assemble once you know how.(Half hour max). Just as easy to disassemble.Cant wait for another holiday!!
