Product Description
The 2012 Coastline 8 Deluxe camping tent is an eight man tent with Colemans unique self rolling window covers. This large family tent is a quick pitch tunnel tent which feels more spacious than perhaps a dome style design and has an extra large living area with room to place tables and chairs. The Coastline 8 deluxe tent offers excellent ventilation thanks to large adjustable panels making it suitable for summer use. The Coastline has two large rooms to sleep four, one on each side of the living area but both can be divided into two for more privacy. Standing height of two metres in the living area means if the weather turns for the worst you can remain inside.

This is a great tent plenty of living space with 2 sleeping areas both of which can be completely separated with a zip up panel or left open for more space. The tent is 7 meters long which is a bit large for some of the sites smaller plots but at the majority of sites this is not an issue. This tent is very well made and makes the holiday more luxurious than smaller tents. The self rolling windows and being full height all through the tent were a big plus for us.

This tent pitches easily - I did it on my own whilst simultaneously watching my two children play. The space inside is fantastic - we were on a group camping trip and managed to fit in 15 people at any one time. We even sat 9 children at tables to eat their meal whilst 6 adults still had room to sit and eat.It does however leak slightly. We had torrential rain which conducted straight down the toggles inside the tent which are used to attatch the bedroom, blinds etc. This resulted in the odd drip in several places in the tent! Also the tent was damaged when we first pitched it -one of the channels which hold the poles was not properly stitched. I think however, that we were just unlucky, and am sure that they are normally fine. If fact one of the famillies n the group had another Coleman tent which was absolutely fine. All that said I would really recommend this tent as it did stand up to horrendous weather, and for its sheer size!

Tents are all about compromise and this is no exception. A high sided tent will give you more room but will be more flimsy than a geodesic dome. On the other hand they are quicker to put up. This is a relatively light tunnel tent so it packs down small and weights less compared to some of the big stuff out there. The price you pay is a little more blowing around in the wind.We used this last weekend in the rain with our three young kids. To really give us enough space we needed our gazebo too. If you're light on gear its plenty big enough. It rained and rained. We stayed dry and warm. Only where we let airbeds push the bedrooms against the outer did we see any damp coming in.It went up in 45 mins and came down just as easily. Construction is very good and the self furling curtains are a neat touch. The sown in groundsheet makes it warm in the wind but do consider that if you have a wet tent in the garden the SIG makes it harder to dry thoroughly - just consider turning a 20 ft sock inside out. As mentioned elsewhere to get the tent and all the parts back in the bag requires very careful packing. Allow ten minutes just to fold ad stuff. All that being said its not expensive and the free delivery was worthwhile. It turned up in 24 hours too.So a really useful mid-weight family tent with plenty of room. I would recommend it unless your one of those people who need the biggest tent on site. This is the bit where I get a bit negative. Coleman - sort the bag out. It could be 25 bigger at no real cost to you. And there's a little con going on here too. The tent was advertised with side and end awnings in place. These are not included. Plus the internal shot is taken with only one of the bedroom pods in place. Sneaky? Certainly. Fraudulent? Nope, just unneccesary as its a good tent.
