Having used a multitude of sleeping bags throughout a 22 year Army career, I thought i would try this bag out.The description states that it comes with a bivi, this is purely a waterproof cover for the bag when rolled up and NOT a bivi bag.Having now field tested it, the temperature last night was roughly 5 degrees C, I found that I was too hot in this bag even under my shelter sheet (no tent). With the addition of a good quality Goretex Bivi Bag, I would be quite happy sleeping out in any UK season.Overall I am happy with my purchase, but would add that a good quality canoe bag to ensure my bag remains dry whilst walking/in a rucksack is a must. Once down bags become wet, they are next to useless, most man made fibre fill bags do retain some heat retention qualities when wet.

Great quality product that will keep you warm. Slept out at minus temperatures and was lovely and warm. Needed airing on arrival but condition was excellent.
