Bought this for a camping strip, spent 20 minutes trying it and could not get a single spark. Amazon refund worked well, the only positive on this purchase. Don't buy it,.

Like previous review said striker included is poor but works with knife, with Sharp stone, piece of flimt. If you cannot make fire I suggest its tinder or technique as this steel makes adequate sparks.

I've got this flint and used is successfully several times, but found striking it with a knife is better then using the metal piece it comes with.
