The Flagstaff provides plenty of space for up to 8 people. Amazingly, it is still very easy to transport and erect. With the 2 generous sleeping pods and a living area similar in size to your living room at home, your family holiday could quite easily become a group holiday.
The Flagstaff is a true double-skin tent. It comes pre-assembled, even the sleeping pods are already in. Simply insert the colour-coded poles in the respective pole tunnels to erect the tent as a whole, including the sleeping pods. Then throw over the outer flysheet and tighten the guy ropes - finished. So easy and so quick.
The sewn in tent floor offers many benefits:
- No rain water entering, since the tent floor and the outer tent are tightly sewn together and sealed
- No pests and no insects in the living and sleeping areas, since all openings are fitted with mosquito netting and screens.
- Pre-assembly provides for very quick set-up.

I agree with the other reviewer instructions "pants" but easy enough to put up but there are ties for the outer tent to fix to the poles which we didn't notice until the outer tent was pegged down.It's a massive tent, sleeping 8 in the two main bed rooms might be abit tight tho but possible.The living space is great plenty of room and hight. The porch area is magic.The ingrated ground sheet for the main space ane bed rooms is a nice touch, it's very thin but very tough.There are a number of improvements I would make after suffering two days of 50 mph winds at the starts of September 2011, the porch needs to be beefed up a bit. I plan to add a few extra points for pegging down the front door. And adding a few extra guy ropes.Also the vent flaps needs a stronger way to be secured in strong winds.On the whole this is a really lovely light airie tent, dispite the 50mph winds and heavy rain the main tent was warm and dry. I am really pleased with this tent and expect to have many years of happy camping. Totally suitable for an English summer, but late season you might wish to beef up the front enterance or have it facing down wind.

Given there are 7 of us we were hopeful this tent would support all our needs 3 bedrooms and a large living area,nice and bright but too ventilated, on a warm summers night we were quite cold. Also 1st time out one of the net windows went into a small hole.

This item was brand new even though we bought a used one. The best bargin I have ever bought. Kids love it. Plenty of room for us and extras. Easy to put up and put away.
