I'm really pleased with this backpack - the pictures don't really do it justice to be honest. I only ordered one after my mother got one, and I was able to see it up close.I received the 15L version, I gambled with regard to size, but once it arrived I thought it was perfect. Enough space for a laptop, books, pencil case and perhaps an item of clothing - a day bag if you will. The best part is the variety of different pockets: main compartment with added inner pocket for pens, keys plus wallet, two side pockets and a front zipped compartment. Ideal really, especially for those important smaller items, you know they will be safe. There is even space for a hydration device.Back padding seems really comfortable, as with all the other Craghopper rucksacks I have owned.Delivered in 3 days, which I thought was excellent for a "non-prime" item. Especially directly following a bank holiday.Will update over next few months.

I purchased recently both a 15l and 22l bag. Both fine, does what it says on the tin. Solid material, waterproof (although I haven't tested it). Both have a front zip that is big enough to put some food, cameras, etc ... The 22l version has an extra zip for sunglasses at the top that the 15l doesn't have. 2 outside pockets to carry water bottles (expandable, so big enough). The interior of the bag is indeed bright yellow (if you get the Earth colour) and a red-pinkish colour for the black version, but I don't have any specific issues with that. Both versions allow for a hydration bladder pocket to be used (although the pouch itself is not provided). They both have hip and padded shoulder straps. I think it also says chest strap: you have indeed placeholders for a chest strap but no strap provided (I don' think it is necessary anyway, the hip strap is enough in my opinion, given the size of the bag). The 22l version has a "walking pole hiding system" that the 15l doesn't have. The inner compartment is rather well made: one section to put documents and maintain them closest to your back, little pockets (5) to put various bits and pieces (wallets, coins, USB sticks and things like that), one of which has a zip, placeholders for pens also: this is for the "internal organiser pocket". The airflow system on the back looks pretty good and overall the bag is quite comfortable.All in all an excellent product, well made. One more thing: I have a T410 Thinkpad Lenovo laptop (roughly 34cm * 24cm and 3cm in depth) and unlike previous comments, it fits comfortably in the 15l bag.Finally, I have elected to purchase both from the Craghoppers website (£12.50 and £17.50 + £4.95 delivery respectively), which was cheaper than on Amazon at the time.

This is a great little day pack. I've bought it as my main hand luggage for a flight, and to take on tour to carry an iPad and bits and pieces. It's more than up to the job, it's well made, tough and light. I'd recommend it to anyone.
