I bought the walking poles for doing the Coast to Coast walk. I hadn't used walking poles before so I didn't want to spend a fortune in case they weren't helpful. I found these poles very helpful indeed, especially for steep climbs and descents, and for picking my way through boggy ground. I also tried the more expensive carbon fibre poles that another walker had bought - they were nice, and lighter weight, but not sufficiently nicer for me to feel that I should have spent more to buy them instead of the Craghoppers. The thing that was better about the more expensive poles was the length adjustment was easier. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

By nelly know all
Not sure about the cork hand grip, it seemed to make my hand sore by grasping it but otherwise a well made sturdy pole & a lovely shade of green. Well worth waiting for slight delay in getting this colour. Would recommend
