I bought this tent in the UK and took it back to the USA where we live because I could not find anything comparable in the US. I wanted something big enough for me and my two sons for weekend cub scout camping. Often we have to arrive at campsites on a Friday evening after school/work when it is already dark. We wanted an uncomplicated, roomy tent that is robust enough to cope with the suden onset high winds and storms we get in this part of the world. This tent has more than exceeded my expectations and we are the envy of the rest of the cub scouts families! I've used the tent for a year and it's as good as new. I was expecting it to be easy to put up but it's also very easy to take down, clean, etc. There are lots of useful extras, pockets, vents etc. and it does better than most other styles in a high wind because it is flexible and strong at the same time. The double layer construction is brilliant and it's easy to regulate temperature with a bit of forethought to opening/closing the door/mesh at the front. I've used it successfully in chilly (but not quite freezing) conditions as well as a wilting 30C (pitched under a tree's shade and left with the outer door open and the inner door zipped, it was fine). My only "want" is to have some way of being able to see out on a fine night. Windows of some kind would be great.I would not try to sleep 4 adults in this tent (not enough space for people plus bags), but it's perfect for a weekend with the kids. If you are taking a family of 4, I'd recommend two x three person pop-ups or one larger one. The rule of thumb generally is allow one space for bags/equipment, so a "4 man" tent is really a "3 person plus bags" tent.

Had this delivered yesterday as we plan on driving around europe soon and needed a tent to put up quickly for the odd one night stay here and there.Couldn't wait to have a look so "popped" it out and was really impressed with the size. Very comfortable for 2 as we plan to use it for.After I watched a youtube video a couple of times I then set about folding it back up. Took a couple of goes and a bit of head scratching but got there in the end after about 5 mins.The took it out again to have another go. When you've done it once it is much easier and only took about a minute to fold up the second time.Really looking forward to using it and will no doubt get many envious on-lookers as we have our tent picked in seconds!

As a tall guy (6 ft 8) i wanted a tent that was easy to put up yet was plenty big enough for me. This tent fulfills both criteria. It literally only takes 2 seconds to pop open and be ready to use. Even with a couple of mins needed just to tie the guy ropes it still is super quick to set up. Putting away is simple and quick too if you know how. Check youtube videos for the method but once you have the knack it takes less than a minute to put it all away. In terms of size its very spacious. I would say its no more than a 3 man tent as you want to leave room for your gear. Plenty of room for 2 adults and very spacious for 1 like i'm using it. Overall a great tent and certainly worth the money.**UPDATE**Just returned from a short camping trip in St Ives over the bank holiday weekend and the tent after finally testing it has proved a very good buy. Had very strong winds and rain one night and the tent was solid and didn't leak a drop. Was very warm and snug despite it being very cold outside. A great buy.
