I had those when climbing Kilimanjaro and what I didnt know was that due to thinned oxygen you need to get those warmers ready early as it takes longer for them to warm up (they react with oxygen) so I got them only warmish when I needed them most and they got really warm on the way down (a bit too late)Also, if you choose to depend on them make sure you have good few spare ones as if you get stuck in cold and they stop working your hands will absolutely freeze! basically, if you don't have enough don't bother using them at all.

What beautiful things these little heaters. I would never have dreamed that they would do such a wonderful job. I will have to have more and more of these because they are the only things that beat the cold. Amazing!
